The Gouf Ignited (Heine Westenfluss Custom) is Heine Westenfluss's personalized version of the ZGMF-2000 Gouf Ignited from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny.
The mobile suit is instantly recognizable by its striking orange, black, and dark-colored armor, giving it a much more aggressive visual identity than many other ZAFT mobile suits.
This new HGCE release has been completely updated with modern Bandai engineering and uses the SEED Action System to provide a wide range of dynamic articulation.
One of the most important improvements is the kit's ability to reproduce the Gouf Ignited's signature sword gimmick without requiring parts swapping. The sword can be stored and extended while remaining integrated with the mobile suit.
The iconic Slayer Whip is also reproduced with two different configurations. Both an extended version and a bent version are included, while the weapon's heated red appearance is recreated through molded plastic rather than requiring extensive painting.

Heine Westenfluss was an elite ZAFT pilot and member of FAITH, known for his energetic personality and distinctive orange-colored mobile suit. His Gouf Ignited was customized with a unique orange-and-black color scheme that immediately identifies the machine as his personal unit.
This new HGCE release represents a major modernization of the Gouf Ignited design. Rather than simply reproducing the proportions and articulation of the older 2005 HG SEED kit, Bandai has developed a new kit using current HGCE engineering.
At the heart of the new kit is Bandai's SEED Action System, which is designed specifically to reproduce the dramatic action poses associated with the Cosmic Era mobile suits. The articulation throughout the shoulders, arms, waist, hips, and legs allows the Gouf Ignited to achieve aggressive combat stances while maintaining a balanced silhouette.
The kit's Beam Sword incorporates one of its most notable gimmicks. The sword can be stored and extended without requiring the builder to exchange the entire weapon or replace major parts. This allows the Gouf Ignited to transition naturally between its stored and combat configurations.
Another major highlight is the Slayer Whip. The kit includes both an extended configuration and a curved configuration, allowing builders to recreate different attack poses. The characteristic heated portion of the weapon is reproduced using molded color, giving the effect a vivid appearance straight out of the box.
The Shield provides the Gouf Ignited with additional defensive equipment while also contributing to its distinctive silhouette. Combined with the Beam Sword and Slayer Whip, the kit can reproduce a variety of close-combat configurations.
The backpack is connected through a standard 3mm single-axis joint, making it compatible with other equipment and accessories that use the same connection standard. This is particularly useful for builders who enjoy customizing and kitbashing their Gunpla.
Bandai has also included a dedicated open right hand, specifically designed to recreate the Gouf Ignited's characteristic Gatling firing pose. This small accessory adds considerably to the range of expressive poses available to the completed model.
