The MG 1/100 MSN-04 Sazabi Ver. Ka is the Master Grade interpretation of Char Aznable’s final mobile suit, faithfully recreating the iconic Neo Zeon machine from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack with an extensive Katoki Hajime redesign.
Following the release of the MG ν Gundam Ver. Ka, Bandai brought its rival machine to the Master Grade Ver. Ka lineup. The result is an exceptionally large and highly detailed Sazabi that combines the imposing appearance of the original mobile suit with extensive mechanical detailing and advanced Master Grade engineering.
The Sazabi Ver. Ka features a sophisticated internal frame that becomes visible through numerous opening and expanding armor panels. The shoulder armor, chest, waist, legs, and backpack contain multiple mechanical gimmicks that allow the outer armor to separate and expose internal components.
A particularly impressive feature is the silver-colored internal frame material, designed to provide a metallic appearance even without painting. Combined with the deep red exterior armor and carefully separated molded colors, the finished model has a premium appearance straight out of the box.
The backpack contains the Sazabi's six Funnels, which can be removed individually. The Funnel container features opening and closing hatches, while the apogee motor covers can expand outward to reveal additional mechanical detail.
The kit also includes the Sazabi's extensive weapon equipment. The Beam Shot Rifle, Shield, Beam Tomahawk, Beam Saber, and Long Rifle are all included. The Long Rifle is particularly notable because it was based on an early Sazabi image-board design and was being reproduced as a plastic model for the first time with this release.
Another highlight is the Emotion Manipulator SP hands. Through insert molding, the fingers feature articulated joints, including movable finger sections and an articulated thumb base, allowing the large weapons to be held in more natural and expressive poses.
The Sazabi Ver. Ka can also be equipped with a separately sold green Gunpla LED unit to illuminate the mono-eye, adding another level of realism to the finished display.

At approximately 23 cm tall, the Sazabi Ver. Ka is substantially larger and more imposing than most standard 1/100 mobile suit kits.
