The large backpack, multiple shields, Beam Gatling Guns, Hyper Bazookas, and oversized propellant tanks create an imposing silhouette that distinguishes this version from the standard RG Unicorn Gundam.
The box artwork emphasizes the dramatic appearance of the Unicorn Gundam in its heavily armed configuration, showcasing the impressive amount of equipment packed into the compact 1/144 scale.
This kit represents one of the most equipment-intensive releases in the RG Unicorn Gundam lineup, combining intricate mechanical detailing with a substantial collection of weapons and accessories.
The RG 1/144 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam brings the heavily armed RX-0 Unicorn Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam UC to Bandai's Real Grade series.
Although built at 1/144 scale, the kit features highly detailed mechanical construction, realistic surface details, intricate panel lines, and extensive color separation.
The completed model retains the Unicorn Gundam's distinctive white armor and red Psycho-Frame accents while adding an enormous collection of weapons and equipment.
The Full Armor configuration includes multiple Beam Gatling Guns, three shields, two Hyper Bazookas, a Beam Magnum, a Beam Javelin, missile launchers, grenades, and large propellant tanks.
One of the most striking features is the backpack assembly. The oversized propellant tanks extend behind the mobile suit, creating a dramatic silhouette and emphasizing its equipment-heavy final-battle configuration.
The kit also retains the RG Unicorn Gundam's transformation mechanism, allowing the model to switch between Unicorn Mode and Destroy Mode through its transforming armor and Psycho-Frame structure.
Despite the extensive Full Armor equipment, the kit is engineered to support dynamic posing through carefully designed joints and clearances.
The RG 1/144 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam is a detailed Real Grade plastic model kit based on the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam UC.
Piloted by Banagher Links, the Unicorn Gundam is one of the most technologically advanced mobile suits in the Universal Century timeline. Its Psycho-Frame system enables the transformation between its compact Unicorn Mode and the more powerful Destroy Mode.
This Full Armor version equips the mobile suit with a massive arsenal designed to maximize its combat capabilities.
Rather than relying on a single primary weapon, the Full Armor configuration combines long-range firepower, close-combat weapons, defensive equipment, and additional propellant capacity.
Bandai reproduces this configuration through a large collection of separately assembled weapons and specialized attachment parts.
The RG format adds realistic mechanical details, intricate panel lines, color-separated components, and the advanced transformation mechanism of the Unicorn Gundam.
The result is a highly detailed 1/144-scale model that combines the engineering of the Real Grade series with the visual impact of the Unicorn Gundam's heavily armed final-battle configuration.
One of the defining features of the RG Unicorn Gundam is its sophisticated transformation mechanism.
The model is designed to reproduce the transition between Unicorn Mode and Destroy Mode, revealing the red Psycho-Frame beneath the white exterior armor.
As the mobile suit transforms, sections of the armor shift to expose the internal frame and change the overall silhouette.
The transformation mechanism is integrated into the model's articulated structure, allowing the Unicorn Gundam to reproduce its distinctive appearance in both modes.
The Full Armor equipment adds another layer of complexity, with numerous weapons and accessories mounted around the body and backpack.
Despite the additional weight and bulk, the kit's joint design and attachment points help support a variety of display poses.
The Unicorn Gundam's Psycho-Frame is one of the defining visual elements of the RX-0 series.
In Unicorn Mode, most of the Psycho-Frame is concealed beneath the white armor.
When transformed into Destroy Mode, the armor panels separate and shift, revealing the red Psycho-Frame throughout the head, torso, arms, legs, and other sections of the body.
This transformation dramatically changes the mobile suit's appearance, giving it a more aggressive silhouette.
The RG engineering reproduces this signature feature at 1/144 scale, making the transformation mechanism one of the kit's major attractions.
The iconic Beam Magnum is included as the Unicorn Gundam's primary firearm.
Its distinctive design and powerful appearance make it an essential component of the mobile suit's standard equipment.
The weapon can be held in the hands for ranged-combat poses and displayed alongside the additional weapons included in the Full Armor configuration.
The Beam Magnum provides a familiar visual reference to the Unicorn Gundam's standard combat loadout.
The kit includes two Hyper Bazookas, providing substantial additional firepower.
These large weapons complement the Beam Magnum and reinforce the Full Armor configuration's focus on overwhelming ranged attacks.
Their size and mechanical detailing make them prominent accessories when displayed alongside the mobile suit.
The Hyper Bazookas can be incorporated into different weapon arrangements depending on the desired display configuration.
The Full Armor Unicorn Gundam includes six Beam Gatling Guns.
These weapons can be combined with the shields using dedicated connection parts, reproducing one of the mobile suit's most recognizable heavy-weapon configurations.
The shield-mounted Gatling assemblies create a distinctive layered appearance and give the Unicorn Gundam a formidable ranged-combat silhouette.
The large number of Beam Gatling Guns is one of the major highlights of this kit, particularly for collectors who enjoy heavily armed mobile suits.
The kit includes three shields for the Full Armor configuration.
These shields provide defensive equipment while also serving as mounting platforms for the Beam Gatling Guns.
Their combination with the Gatling weapons creates a distinctive multi-layered assembly that significantly changes the appearance of the mobile suit's arms and sides.
The shields can be arranged to complement different display poses and weapon configurations.
The Hyper Beam Javelin is another signature weapon included with the kit.
Its long profile and distinctive beam-effect design provide a dramatic alternative to the Beam Magnum and Hyper Bazookas.
The weapon can also be configured in a folded arrangement through parts rearrangement, allowing builders to display it in different forms.
This accessory is particularly appealing to collectors who want to reproduce the Unicorn Gundam's varied weapon configurations.
The Full Armor equipment includes several additional explosive weapons:
These accessories reinforce the Full Armor concept by providing additional offensive capabilities beyond the primary beam weapons.
Their inclusion also increases the model's visual complexity, particularly when the mobile suit is displayed with its full equipment loadout.
The large propellant tanks mounted on the backpack are among the most visually distinctive components of the Full Armor configuration.
These oversized tanks extend behind the mobile suit and give the model a substantial silhouette.
The kit includes dedicated support bases for the propellant tanks, helping stabilize the assembly when displayed.
The additional equipment makes the finished model particularly impressive in a display cabinet or alongside other Universal Century mobile suits.
Combines the compact 1/144 scale with intricate mechanical detailing, realistic surface features, and extensive color separation.
The model reproduces the Unicorn Gundam's signature transformation mechanism.
The transformation reveals the distinctive red Psycho-Frame beneath the white exterior armor.
The iconic primary firearm is included.
Two large bazookas provide additional heavy ranged firepower.
Six Beam Gatling Guns reproduce the Full Armor Unicorn Gundam's distinctive heavy-weapon configuration.
Three shields are included and can be combined with the Beam Gatling Guns.
The signature Beam Javelin is included and can be configured in a folded arrangement.
Includes hand grenades, grenade launchers, and anti-ship missile launchers.
Large backpack-mounted tanks create the distinctive Full Armor silhouette.
Two support bases help stabilize the large propellant tank assembly during display.
Carefully designed joints and armor clearances allow a range of action poses even with the additional equipment.
The kit reproduces the Unicorn Gundam's recognizable white armor and red Psycho-Frame appearance.
Note: The Full Armor configuration contains numerous weapons and accessories. The included equipment should not be confused with the smaller accessory selection supplied with the standard RG Unicorn Gundam.
